Rocket Racing related

The server is about Rocket Racing, or is a Rocket Racing creator, league, team, track-building or speedrunning community. A bigger Fortnite or Rocket League server with an active Rocket Racing part can apply too, just tell us about it in the form

Discord Community turned on

Server Settings, Enable Community. Discord asks for a rules channel and a community updates channel on the way, so this step covers both

A rules channel everyone can read

Server Settings, Community, Overview, Rules or Guidelines channel. Keep it visible to everyone

At least one Announcement channel everyone can see

Create a channel and pick Announcement, or open an existing text channel, Edit Channel, and switch on Announcement Channel.

Give @everyone View Channel on it (read-only is fine). If your server hides channels until members verify, make this one channel visible to @everyone, or our bot can not relay it.

Only Announcement channels are relayed. Staff-only and age-restricted ones are skipped

A permanent invite made from the announcement channel

Right click your announcement channel, Invite People, Edit invite link: Expire after Never, Max number of uses No limit, Grant temporary membership off, then copy it.

Making it from the announcement channel is how we can see the channel exists before our bot is in your server.

Vanity links (discord.gg/yourname) are not accepted, because a vanity name can change hands; make a normal invite even if you have one

Your Discord linked to your Vision Force account

Sign in with Discord, or connect it in your account settings. It is how we check that you run the server

You run the server

The Discord account linked to your Vision Force account must be the server owner, or have Administrator or Manage Server there. We check this once our bot is in. Adding a bot also needs Manage Server, so if you are not the one adding it, someone who has it adds it after we say yes

Not age-restricted, follows Discord's Community Guidelines

No NSFW or age-restricted servers or announcement channels, no cheats, leaks, scams, hate or harassment

What the VF Relay bot does

It asks for two permissions, View Channels and Read Message History. Do not give it more: a VF Relay with Administrator, Manage Server, Manage Roles, Manage Channels, Manage Webhooks, Manage Messages, Kick or Ban is paused until that is removed.

Keep its VF Relay role and do not deny it on your announcement channel.

It reads your public Announcement channels and nothing else, it never posts, never DMs and never moderates

What shows on your page

The text, images, embeds and reaction counts of posts in your public Announcement channels, with the poster's display name and avatar.

New posts, edits, reactions and deletions of your recent announcements show up within a few minutes; changes to older posts can take a few days. Polls show their question.

Posts that arrive by following another server's channel, or forwarded from another server, are not shown: that server can apply itself.

For the first two weeks of a new server a person checks posts before they show

How to leave

Kick the bot, or tell us. Kicking it pauses your page's relay. We can also pause or switch off a server that stops following the rules
