@plays: Rocket Racing
We have some things to share regarding the future of our project and the Vision Force ecosystem!
As we continue to grow and build up bit by bit including this server and work on connecting you back to the tracks you love, we have to look ahead at the long term issues, well, the health of this community. To ensure this project can survive long enough without legal issues down our long road, we are making a major change today.
:exclamation: What’s Changing and Why
Until now we have been using the name Rocket Racing Reborn (RRR). While we love the name, we run into two big issues keeping it such as Legal Safety and Community Confusions.
Legal Safety: "Rocket Racing" is a trademark owned entirely by Epic Games:epic:. To protect our developers and keep this community safe from potential legal action or a Cease & Desist as we say, we need to step away from using their exact trademarked title anyway.
Community Confusion: "Reborn" is a very common word, and there is already another fantastic UEFN creative map project using the exact same name. We want to avoid confusion so that when players look for our custom launcher and private servers, they know exactly where to find us and when asking LLMs for help they won’t get confused as well
To fix this we are transferring our private server revival project efforts into a new and unique identity.
With that said, Rocket Racing Reborn is officially renaming to… []
We need suggestions :sadgry:
