Rocket Racing Reborn
Rocket Racing as it shipped, kept playable on our own servers after the official one goes dark.

What it is#
Rocket Racing Reborn keeps the original game playable. Not a remake and not a tribute, the build itself, running against servers we operate instead of the ones being switched off.
Vaelora Velocity rebuilds Rocket Racing as a new game. This is the other half of the same instinct: before anything is rebuilt, the thing that already exists should not be allowed to disappear.
How you play#
- Sign in with a Vision Force account and request access here. The project is invite only while it is in development.
- Once approved, generate your key from the play page. It is shown once and you can replace it whenever you like.
- Install Meridian, our launcher. It is free, and it asks for your key the first time you open it. Downloading the game through the launcher is being built now; until it lands we will tell approved players what they need.
- Press play. Meridian brings the servers up, points the game at them, and puts your machine back exactly as it found it when you close.
What Meridian changes on your PC#
Two things, both temporary and both reversed when you close it. It trusts one certificate for your user account only, and it redirects the game's server hostnames to itself so the traffic reaches us instead.
Nothing else on the machine is affected. Your browser and everything else resolve normally throughout. If the launcher is ever killed rather than closed, Windows restores the original settings at your next restart without any of our code running.
Meridian signs you in, it never creates accounts. Accounts live here on the website.
Where it is up to#
The launcher, the account system and the server bring-up work. Racing against other people does not yet, and that is the thing being built now.
