Run a Rocket Racing Discord server? You can now apply to get it on the Vision Force community page
Once a person says yes, our VF Relay bot brings your announcements onto your server's own page here, images and reactions included
The bot only reads your public Announcement channels and asks for two permissions, nothing more
What VF Communities is
VF Communities is the server directory on our community page. Every listed server gets its own page with its announcements on it, relayed by our VF Relay bot straight from the server's Announcement channels
Until now we added servers by hand and their posts came through our old hub relay. That relay is gone: the people who run a server now apply themselves, a person reads every application and the answer comes by email
Servers that were already listed stay listed and say Not relayed yet until someone who runs them applies
How to apply
- Sign in to your Vision Force account, make sure it has an email and a username, and link your Discord in account settings
- Make a permanent invite from your Announcement channel: Expire after Never, No limit on uses, Grant temporary membership off. Vanity links are not accepted
- Paste it at /community/apply. We check it straight away and tell you what to fix, and your card shows up next to the form in your server's colours
- Answer a few questions about the server, then hold the button for two seconds to send
- A person reads it and you get an email either way
- If it is a yes, the email has the button to add the VF Relay bot. Add it, press I added it, check now, and your page goes live within a minute

What the VF Relay bot can and cannot do
- It asks for two permissions, View Channels and Read Message History
- It reads your public Announcement channels and nothing else. Staff-only and age-restricted channels are skipped
- It never posts, never sends DMs and never moderates
- Give it more, like Administrator, Manage Server, Manage Roles, Manage Channels, Manage Webhooks, Manage Messages, Kick or Ban, and your relay is paused until that is removed
- To leave, kick the bot or tell us. Kicking it pauses your page's relay
What shows on your page
The text, images, embeds and reaction counts of your announcements, with the poster's display name and avatar. Polls show their question
New posts, edits, reactions and deletions of your recent announcements show up within a few minutes. Changes to older posts can take a few days
Your card and your page header take two colours from your server's icon. Discord image links run out after about a day and we keep no copies, so the bot reads posts again before their images expire, and an image that still runs out shows a placeholder with a link to Discord

For the first two weeks of a new server, a person checks every new post and edit before it shows on the page
Meet Requirements
Every requirement is on the guide with how to fix it, and the legal side is in the VF Communities terms
- The server is about Rocket Racing, or is a Rocket Racing creator, league, team, track-building or speedrunning community
- Discord Community is turned on, with a rules channel everyone can read
- At least one Announcement channel that @everyone can see
- A permanent invite made from that channel, not a vanity link
- You are the owner, or have Administrator or Manage Server there
- Not age-restricted, and it follows Discord's Community Guidelines

Also new on the site
Every application form now holds to send, the legal page became seven documents and you can reset a forgotten password from Settings. It is all in the 1.1 release notes
